4 avril People keep asking, why did you move to Melbourne?
Its autumn in Melbourne, spring in the NL........ I just walked to work with Chantal (who's working across the street from my office in the mall) , a nice 15 minute stroll. Already 13 at 7:30am. Looks like its going to be another nice weekend. (BTW, upto 26 is the forecast for next week.) I know we've had some wind this week and I did notice that the houses and other infrastructure here is not built to cope with the kind of weather we think is normal in the NL, some homes are still without power after 48 hours.... 25 novembre Eem bruiloft!19 octobre Daar zijn we weer eensIk heb weer eens wat plaatjes gepost, van de vakantie in 2007 en het bezoek van Else, Ton en de kids

26 décembre Kouwe kerst in MelbourneNieuw album toegevoegd met foto's van de ons tijdens kerst. verder weinig over te melden hoor, het is net zo koud als in Nederland, het regent en hagelt. Gelukkig is dat goed nieuws voor de bosbranden. We zijn bij de buren geweest, en bij Geoff en hebben gezellig samen gegeten met Pat z'n vriendin erbij. En nu maar hopen dat oud en nieuw wat warmer is.
Morgen weer normaal aan het werk. De vrije dagen bewaren we voor wanneer Else, Simone, Wouter en Ton er zijn ;-)
aftellen.....nog 5 en halve maand.
Hoe was bij jullie de kerst?
29 août We zijn weer on-line !Nog met 1 PC, snel de wireless in orde maken nu. Ik laat jullie snel weten hoe ofwat, we hebben nu als het allemaal wil werken ook VOIP, dus lekker goedkoop bellen.
Ed 11 août Nieuw fotoalbum met het nieuwe huisVandaag eindelijk even tijd om de foto's van het nieuwe huis te uploaden. Ze staan in het foto album 'Augustus 2006'.
Het bevalt prima, grote garage met ingang door naar de eetkamer, grotere achtertuin en vooral veel ruimte boven voor de kids. Daar zijn twee slaapkamers, een woon/speel kamer en eigen badkamer en toilet. Beneden, de woonkamer is ook veel ruimer en een extra eetkamer gekoppeld aan de keuken. Er is maar 1 nadeel, we hebben nog steeds geen telefoon en internet. De kabel bungelt aande overkant van de straat en Telstra moet nog druk studeren wanneer en hoe ze dat onder de straat door gaan trekken. Ze moeten daarvoor boren maar eerst toestemming en plannen aanvragen zodat ze niet per ongeluk gasleidingen oid raken. Logisch, maar het duurt wel een beetje lang..... Voor nu zijn we mobiel bereikbar, ik heb een nieuw nummer: +61 04 06385559.
Oh ja, Rob, Chantal's vriend is er nu een week dus we zullen er wel opuit gaan trekken om hem de omgeving te laten zien...

As a reminder: the next Mossig meeting will be next Wednesday, the 26th For this meetingh we have scheduled a presentation on on how to create documents using XML and XSL, deep diving into the XML features of Word and Excel and also a development overview of Web Content Management in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) - the new MCMS replacement. Both presentations will be of value for developers and end-users and cover the current version as well as the upcoming 2007 features. Exciting isn’t it? So, you can now use Word to edit your posts and publish them straight from Word using the new bLog publishing feature. This is super-cool, you press Publish and you are done. It is almost instant. A heading looks like oneAnd it is also easy to apply styles and formatting, I really like this, now I can create a bit more exciting looking bLogs. |
