Before deciding to move to Australia we went there for a four week holiday (7/2004). I'm here now, in April 2005 to start work, setup in the office, look for a place to stay etc.

I've uploaded a few pictures we took on our holiday and have some comments. Australians are weird, I thought the Dutch were, wearing clogs and smoking pot but the lady feeding the roo's and her hat,,... man.... And they climb trees and sit in them the whole day doing nothing.

For a living they have to pan for gold, so we tried that, and I can tell you in winter the water gets pretty cold. One pan is more than enough. We were glad we were there early the morning just after they re-filled the creek with the daily dosis of golddust ;-)
